What Brings Me JOY in November
It’s Autumn! I love the changing leaves with their vibrant colors, the scent of a pumpkin candle, and the excitement of hosting the family for Thanksgiving! (All 40 or so of them!) My dogs are loving all the new smells fall has to offer and my granddaughters are happy “helping” their dad rake the leaves…By jumping in them of course.
We are all busy around the store getting in new and exciting merchandise for the holiday season. This time of year is like “Christmas everyday” around here! With lots of boxes arriving daily, it’s so much fun as the excitement builds! Our Holiday Open House is the weekend of November 10-13. We will kick off the party with Happy Hour on Thursday night. Follow us on Social Media @merlenormanolney (FaceBook and Instagram) for more details! We will also text out details as they are finalized but don’t forget to save the date! We will have drinks, food, drawings, giveaways and fun!
Products We LOVE This Month
At Merle Norman, we’ve put away the beach bags and pulled out the Fall and Holiday candles. This is the best time of the year in retail, and new products are arriving every day. And if that’s not enough, the new holiday makeup colors are always exciting. Fashions for fall set the stage for the rest of the year, and makeup follows suit. Come in for your new handbag, your new lipstick, or a new scent for your home. There’s so much to choose from! And we’ve got you covered if you need a gift too.

Hobo Handbags: These leather bags, wallets, and wristlets are the perfect addition to your fall collection (or any season, for that matter). Not only are they soft and lucious, they are a Maryland-based company.
Fall candles…Nothing says “Fall” like the smell of pumpkin and cinnamon (just ask Starbucks!). These amazing candles come in various shapes and sizes. Not a pumpkin fan? Check out the other fall scents too!
Snacks and Drinks: Come see what’s new in our Food & Drink Section. We have Lou’s Libations to help you create a delicious cocktail, Stonewall Kitchen jams and dips, and yummy chocolate. There’s something to wet your whistle–or your friend’s whistle.
